Application of vacuum pump in plastics industry
Vacuum technology can be applied to a variety of processes in the plastic industry, such as degassing, drying and transmission. Application of vacuum pump in plastic industry: extruder degassing, vacuum forming, EPS foaming, drying, pneumatic conveying device.
Vacuum pump application
Extruder degassing
During processing, the thermoplastic plastics are melted in the extruder and degassed in the threaded part of the extruder. A vacuum device is used to extract gas and steam components from the molten material. All low molecular weight materials are extracted to achieve the optimal thermoplastic quality with a smooth shape, higher strength, better insulation and lower gas generation rate.
Setting table (section)
The plastic material melted and degassed in the extruder enters a continuous profile on the shaping table. Typically, these sections are inside tubes, or in various technical sections such as Windows, wire slots, and medical tubes. The plastic material is pumped into the mold. For cooling and lubrication, a water film is formed between the inside of the mold and the continuous working parts, and the air is stably evacuated by a vacuum pump.
Pneumatic conveyer
At various stages of production, the plastic ball material must be transferred from one location to another (e.g., from storage tank to dryer). It can be realized automatically by adopting pneumatic conveying device, and can accelerate the speed. The line is arranged from the starting point to the end point and connected to the vacuum pump or compressor.
To transport the material, the air in the pipes is "loaded" -- comparable to a hurricane, it can whip up leaves, or have the strength of a typhoon, depending on the wind speed, or even lift the roof off a house. Depending on the weight of the cargo and the length of the pipes, the system is designed to give the strength of a real typhoon and even lift the roof off the house. Depending on the weight of the cargo and the length of the line, the system is designed to generate enough wind speed for the vacuum pump (vacuum transfer) or compressor (pressure transfer) to pick up the material and deliver it to its destination without leaving it in the line.
Because the pneumatic conveyors used to transfer the plastic ball material produce a lot of dust, we recommend the use of filtration systems.
Vinyl chloride gas extraction and compression
In the process of PVC production, vinyl chloride gas under the pressure of automatic autoautoclave polymerization, polymerization OF PVC. At the same time, the resulting gas is pumped, compressed and liquefied.
