Application of vacuum pump in wood processing
Many kinds of vacuum pumps are used in wood processing industry. We put the vacuum pump on the work table from the end of the application to the end of the product. For this purpose, the work area is kept clean and free of debris that may affect the final product.
The vacuum pump is also used as a central vacuum system for wood processing to improve efficiency and minimize costs associated with wood retention and special benches that are no longer necessary.
Vacuum pump application: wood drying, wood preservation, log impregnation.

Hold and snatch
In order to ensure the safety of the processing, the workpiece is often automatically fixed on the worktable through the vacuum suction head. In the process of machining, in order to ensure that the workpiece is firmly fixed on the worktable, it is necessary to keep the vacuum at least 15hgv. If the vacuum degree falls below the minimum required vacuum degree, then the workpiece cannot be fixed firmly.

Wood drying
The use of vacuum dryer in traditional wood drying chamber makes the drying time from a few weeks in the past to only 3 to 4 days now.
During the drying process, the pressure of the drying chamber is gradually reduced to the minimum. The drying chamber is filled with high-pressure steam, and oxygen is pumped away to avoid cracks and color changes of wood, which are usually caused by high oxygen content. Vacuum pump / centrifugal fan is used to circulate steam and transfer heat to wood.

Wood preservation
Whether before or after processing, wood must be protected to avoid the adverse effects of the environment, such as heat, moisture, insect pests and microorganisms. It has been widely used to preserve wood by immersing wood in preservative solution. However, the disadvantage is that the penetration depth of preservative solution is only a few millimeters. However, complete protection is also possible. That is, the wood is degassed and dried with the assistance of vacuum pump, so that the depth of penetration of preservatives is much deeper, thus greatly optimizing the protection effect.

Log impregnation
Impregnate logs to avoid decay in an unprotected environment. For this purpose, the wood is put into a large airtight container. After loading, the liquid ring pump is used to extract the moisture in the wood above the container. Then, chromium arsenic mixture (CCA) was injected into the container. At this time, the vacuum pump is used as a compressor to pressurize the container and impregnate the wood with the required concentration of CCA.

Impregnation of wood is a widely used solution, but the disadvantage is that the liquid only enters the wood a few millimeters. However, the wood can be completely protected after degassing and drying with a vacuum pump. In this way, the preservative penetrates deeper and optimizes the protective effect.
